Life’s Short
If I were to leave it at that, there would be nothing else to say. However, I already paid for the entire year of hosting, so….
Like me, this site is now and will continue to be under construction.
Whether it is a spaceship you want to ride, guitars you want to make, a specialty eyeglass business you wish to build, or a book you want to write,

Life’s in Session
My dad used to say, "Be wary when someone says ‘“all you have to do.’ “While creating this website, his sage advice repeatedly rang in my ears and has left a permanent imprint on my bruised psyche.
Although it is not my name, I must be frank, for it was I, without concern of complication or consequence, who willy-nilly accepted the idea creating a website to introduce my books would be as simple as “All you have to do” sounded. Once my self-induced delusion had dissipated, what I found in its place, was that creating this website was likened to teaching myself a language no one has spoken.

After completing my second book of fiction, my desire to write another was not apparent, although I did know I wanted to write - something. The issue that I faced was twofold. First, how was I going to market my books? And second, when I had figured that out, what was I going to write - if anything?
Did I still want to sell my books? Absolutely. Would creating this website make that happen? That is still to be determined.
Although this website started with one goal, I am happy it did not end there. It developed into much more, and I am excited to see where it grows. If I have learned anything during my time on this spinning ball, it is that~
Like the universe and all of its galaxies ~ the possibilities are endless!
I was encouraged to write my first book when my husband presented me with a woman's sweater brooch he found on the beach. This brooch, made in the shape of a pair of women's old-fashioned glasses, had tiny rhinestones around the rims that shined like diamonds in my hand, and it was while looking down at the glistening stones that the story was conceived. It would be a few years of mulling it over and a couple more to write her before “Biddy” was born.
The second book I wrote took on a life of its own, and although I learned a great deal when writing “Biddy,” I was in for a rude awakening when writing “Peculiar People.” If I thought writing Biddy was taking a big bite, I came close to choking to death with the massive rewrites it took to get this second book ready for publishing.
Contemplating the universe has never bored me
at the same time, reflecting on one’s navel has the propensity to become droll. The repetitiveness of daily routine grates on some, yet some never waiver from its continuum. Others are simultaneously forced to seek different avenues of interest. I prefer the latter.
As any writer will tell you, there are myriads of subject matter from which to draw. For some writer’s sticking to one idea works best. For others, the more ideas, the merrier.
I have likened life to being a big stew. It is filled with various aromas, tastes, and textures—a mismatch of this and that, and so on.
As this website grows, you will be immersed in a motley pot of different subjects and ideas.
Please indulge in the whole bowl; the stew is delicious!
