Story Telling Time
We’re born. We live, and we die.
Now that - was a short story. Fortunately, most authors write longer stories with more detail.
While developing this website, I knew I wanted a place where I could share experiences of interest to me and create short or long stories; that is what writers do.
Before that ensues, I dusted off an old story I wrote fifteen years ago. This story has been rewritten several times. Before entering each segment here in Story Telling Time, it will undergo another rewrite. Truth be known, if I were to revisit this same story a year from now, it would be rewritten again because it is the rewrite if I am accomplished at anything in the writing field, where I excel.
Tropical Paradise Part 4

Tropical Paradise Part 3
What I had believed to be a flickering light emanating from the TV screen was a skewed judgment call on my part. Subconsciously I knew the TV's flickering and blinking lights would not suddenly become distinct rapid movements heading right at me in a breakneck run.
Tropical Paradise Part 2
The speed at which a person can react under such circumstances is fascinating. I have no memory of how I moved as quickly as I did. Looking back, I am perplexed at how I could physically perform the acrobatic act that I did without the aid of a trampoline.
Tropical Paradise Part 1
A couple discovers more than the warm turquoise waters and white sandy beaches on a small island in the Riviera Maya.
