Food for Thought
Fueling Your Imagination
Cooking is not for everyone. Some love it. Others do it because that is how they get food into their mouths. Here, you will find a growing list of recipes to try. Feel free to change any of them to fit your taste. That is precisely what I do.
This is my disclaimer for the recipes herein. These recipes will have no calorie counts, nor will you find any nutritional values. The measurements are a guessing game on my part, too, as I am the cook that throws a glop of this and a shake of that into the mix when cooking. The only time I use exact measurements is when I bake, and it would be a rarity to find me baking.
Although I try to prepare meals on the healthy side, anything done to excess is not advised. My best advice is to:
Learn to control yourself.
If you make any of these recipes and feel too full - you overate.
I do not cook with large amounts of butter, other fats, or salt; the dishes I prepare are still outstanding. As I said earlier, do with these recipes what you will and adjust to your taste.
Without using Julia Child’s notable signoff of “Bon Appetit,” I leave you with my own best wishes when I say,
“Down the hatch!”
